Prevalence and Relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and Obesity in the Kurdish population

Background: Globally obesity is a commonly health condition. A great number of investigators have been studying the association between Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and obesity. It’s also known that H. causes inflammation within mucosa stomach which as gastritis. However, due to arguable data in literature, relationship Pylori remains debatable there no comprehensive proof for association.
 Objective: To study Prevalence Relationship Obesity.
 Methods: In this 200 subjects were contributed, including 100 patients positive tested with H.pylori healthy participants negative serological test infection. The collected different places Kurdistan region Iraq Rizgary Hospital Erbil Alaa laboratory Soran city other around Provence. body mass index was calculated by measuring weight kg length cm. Furthermore, all filled self-administered questionnaire collect more detailed about subjects. Descriptive inferential statistics obtained using statistical analysis programs SPSS GraphPad prism.
 Results: prevalence significantly higher pylori-positive compared control young age persons, result showed group are consuming fast food BMI group.
 Conclusion: Our indicates an overweight/obesity examined case-control Kurdish population.
